Modern Tables: how to choose the right modern table
Configurator and available combinations
The most suitable combinations bring together the right size, a finish suited to the setting and a base consistent with the intended use. The configurator helps compare the available options.
Shapes for contemporary spaces
Rectangular, round, oval, square or shaped: the chosen shape affects footprint, seating capacity and visual presence. Modern lines enhance simple finishes and solid colours.
Sizes for kitchen, terrace and garden
Before choosing a size, consider circulation space, chairs, base and everyday use. A modern lava stone table can be designed for compact rooms or larger dining areas.
Solid colours and material effects
Modern finishes include solid colours, glass, copper and lava effects, and essential surfaces. The colour choice can make the table discreet, bright or the focal point of the room.
Coordinated bases and chairs
The base affects stability, visual height and the overall style of the table. Where available, coordinated chairs and bases help create a complete solution around the lava stone top.
Modern tables for indoor and outdoor use
Ceramised lava stone is suitable for interiors, terraces, gardens and venues. For outdoor use, choose components consistent with exposure, maintenance and the installation setting.
Customisations and special work
In addition to the configurations available online, you can request special colours, sizes or details. Special work is assessed according to technical feasibility, timing and project characteristics.
How to compare offers
To compare several tables, always consider size, visual thickness, base type, finish and included accessories. Two similar models can change significantly depending on the selected options.
Availability and production times
Lava stone tables are handcrafted products and may require different times depending on size, finish and customisation. A quote request lets you check current availability and timing.

Information about the Modern Tables category
Artesole modern tables are made with Etna lava stone tops, ceramised, hand-painted or hand-decorated. The surface is glazed at high temperature to create a resistant top for everyday use, suitable for interiors, gardens, terraces and venues.
Each table can be personalised by choosing shape, size, colour, base and coordinated accessories. This category is intended for those looking for a contemporary lava stone table, with cleaner finishes than traditional decorations.
The information refers to the Artesole modern tables catalogue and the configurations available online. Any current promotions, where present, apply only to the tables where they are indicated and are already calculated on the product page.
Questions and answers about Modern Tables
The answers below help you choose shape, finish and quote options for a modern lava stone table.
The price depends on shape, size, finish, base, chairs and requested customisations. For configurable products, the price is calculated online when the selected combination is available; for non-standard sizes or special requests you can send a quote request.
Rectangular tables work well in linear dining areas, round tables make conversation easier, oval tops reduce visual bulk and square tables suit compact rooms. Shaped tops are useful when you want a stronger visual presence or need to adapt to specific circulation and proportions.
Start with the number of seats, then allow space for chairs and circulation around the table. Also consider the base: some supports take up more room under the top, while others leave more freedom for legs and seating.
Modern finishes include solid colours, glass, copper and lava effects, coloured bands and clean contemporary decorations. The choice depends on the setting: light colours make the table brighter, while dark or material-effect finishes make it a stronger focal point.
Yes. In addition to the configurations available online, you can request special colours, details or made-to-measure solutions. Customisations are assessed according to technical feasibility, top size, finish type and production timing.
Yes. Ceramised lava stone is suitable for gardens, terraces, outdoor dining areas and venues. For outdoor use, choose a base consistent with exposure and assess any accessories according to wind, rain, sun and everyday use.
For routine cleaning, water and mild detergents are enough; avoid abrasive products or overly aggressive sponges. The ceramised surface is compact, easy to clean and designed for everyday use at home, in the garden or in a venue.
Choose the base according to the top weight, shape, number of seats and room style. Central bases leave more freedom for chairs, while side bases or iron structures can add visual presence and stability to long or substantial tables.
Where available, coordinated chairs help create a coherent set in colour, proportions and use. In the quote request, you can specify whether you need only the top, the complete table with base or matching chairs as well.
Open the product, choose the available options and add it to your quote request. For a more precise reply, include desired size, indoor or outdoor use, preferred base, any chairs, colour or finish, delivery location and notes about timing or special requirements.
